Vier rauflustige Westerner bemühen sich vergebens, einen für Mexiko bestimmten illegalen Goldtransport zu erbeuten. Dabei gerät das Quartett unter anderem an eine Bande schwachsinniger Ganoven, an karatewütige Chinesen und an einen deutschen Wanderzirkus unter der Leitung eines zackig-preußischen Direktors.
