In September 1970, Antonio, twenty years old and fervent '68 activist, leaves Rome by his mother's Cinquecento on the way to Athens. He is following Plato's myth and he hopes to find the famous Cave of the shadows, the place which the knowledge is located beyond. In this research trip, Antonio will visit beautiful places and meet many people; among them, a fascinating girl: Maria.
