The Lespinas, a Haitian family, has an easy life in Boston. Their daughter Carol has been dating Ben for over five years. Carol meets Dr. Steve, who asks her to marry him. Carol must make a decision that could send the family on an emotional journey with a series of unpredictable events, which will affect their lives forever.
