What does being ordinary mean? What traits exactly define us as such? This film is an exploration of normality through the enchanted eyes of extraordinary actors. A year in the lives of five actors with Down’s Syndrome and one with autism, accompanied by Paolo Ruffini. The story of a dream that becomes an adventure, as a theatre company attempts to set up a completely “ordinary” undertaking: put on an exhilarating and politically incorrect show and go touring in the most prestigious theatres in Italy. Federico, Andrea, Erika, Giacomo, Simone and David are the protagonists of this adventure: “mistaken” superheroes with the unwitting power to do the impossible.
