Een Taiwanese yup woont met zijn partner in Amerika. Zijn ouders weten niet dat hij homoseksueel is, dus regelt hij een schijnhuwelijk met een vrouw. Als zijn ouders onverwacht overkomen, verandert de geplande korte trip naar het stadhuis in een enorm, traditioneel Oosters feest.
