Het is reeds twee jaar geleden dat er in Duitsland een zombievirus uitbrak. Alle Duitse steden zijn geïnfecteerd, op twee na. Twee jonge vrouwen, Vivi en Eva, wonen in de geïnfecteerde stad Weimar. De twee besluiten de stad te ontvluchten en begeven zich naar de veilige stad Jena.
