Ajith, having been selected as an IPS officer awaits his posting as an Assistant Commissioner of Police. He beats up 'Fefsi' Vijayan, a local rowdy and this puts his posting in jeopardy. He overcomes it to become the AC and stands up to Jaiprakash Reddy, who seems to have both the police and the politicians in his pocket. How he succeeds amidst all obstacles in life is the rest of the story.
