Kalathur Kannamma
Gemini Ganesan is the son of Balaiah, a rich landlord. Savithri is the daughter of a poor peasant who works for Balaiah. Gemini Ganesan and Savithri fall in love. Gemini persuades her and they marry secretly. Gemini goes abroad for higher education. But Balaiah disapproves Gemini-Savithri marriage. Aftermath what happens to the secret wedded couple forms the rest of the story.
