L'accompagnatrice
Dans le Paris occupé et affamé de l'hiver 1942-1943, Sophie devient l'accompagnatrice d'une célèbre cantatrice, dont le riche époux Charles collabore à contre coeur. Discrète et effacée, elle côtoie un luxe qu'elle ignorait et va découvrir le monde, ses trahisons et ses compromissions. A l'occasion d'un récital à Vichy, Charles négocie avec un ami ministre leur départ pour Londres.
