Redemptio
Redemptio is a documentary film about seven inmates inside Caltagirone prison, Sicily. In this intimate portrayal, we will see their fears, we will discover their mistakes, we will admire their hopes and desires for redemption from their sins. A journey told through the reconstruction of their respective crimes and the authentic and intense testimonies of men trying to free themselves from their nightmares. Their greatest obsession remains the lack of freedom. Stuck in a limbo, the seven protagonists are tortured more than anything by the fear of not being able to return to a normal life.
