Fuyant un passé douloureux, Chloé démarre une nouvelle vie d'institutrice dans le Morvan avec son fils Jules, 8 ans. Accueillie chaleureusement par les habitants du village, elle tombe sous le charme de Mathieu, un médecin charismatique et mystérieux.
