When a successful businessman's car breaks down he takes refuge in the sumptuous castle of a count who is a retired criminal attorney. There, he is introduced to the count's friends; a group of retired lawyers who retry famous historical law cases.They invite the businessman to join in their games and he soon finds himself telling the most intimate details of his life.
