A retired war veteran, Edward, struggles to readjust to life back at home while overcoming his drug addiction and trying to find a place in society. When his teenage nephew is being bullied and decides to bring a gun to school, Edward brings his troubled nephew along on a journey to rediscover the meaning of life.
