Franz Walsch kehrt aus der trostlosen Welt des Gefängnisses in die nicht weniger triste Freiheit zurück. Seine Freundin Joanna singt in einem Nachtclub, sein Bruder Marian ist tot. Erneut gerät Walsch auf die schiefe Bahn. Zusammen mit zwei Freunden plant er einen Überfall auf einen Supermarkt, scheitert jedoch bei der Durchführung mit tödlicher Konsequenz.
