Hanabi Yasuraoka und Mugi Awaya sind beide relativ beliebt und wirken wie das Ideale Paar. Doch bei den beiden ist leider nichts so wie es scheint, denn sie teilen ein und dasselbe Geheimnis, wovon niemand etwas weiß. Sowohl Hanabi als auch Mugi sind nicht ineinander verliebt, sondern hoffnungslos in jemand anderes und so gehen die beiden eigentlich nur miteinander, um ihrer jeweiligen Einsamkeit aus dem Weg zu gehen.
