Un joven apodado Gringo (Roth) está pasando unas vacaciones de lujo en Chile, pese a que no ha conseguido ligar con ninguna chica. Cuando él y sus amigos logren al fin que unas mozas los acompañen en el viaje, un terremoto convertirá las idílicas vacaciones en una auténtica pesadilla.
