Jumpei Murao, an eighth grader, gave up on ballet after the death of his father. One day, his classmate Miyako Godai sees his interest in ballet and invites him to join her. Jumpei begins to frequent the ballet studio run by Miyako's mother, rekindling his former passion.
Jumpei meets LuŌ Mori, Miyako's cousin and a lone prodigy. His enthusiasm only grows despite seeing the overwhelming difference his and LuŌ's abilities. In the same vein, LuŌ is secretly inspired by Jumpei. Before the two of them, there are those who aim for even greater heights.
