Ania ist verblüfft, als ihr mitten im Stadtpark eines Tages ein Wolf vor die Füße läuft. Nachdem sie einmal Augenkontakt mit dem wilden Tier hatte, kommt ihre bisherige Existenz ihr plötzlich nichtig und sinnlos vor. Weil sie den Wolf nicht vergessen kann, bringt Ania sich selbst das Fährtenlesen und Jagen bei. Es gelingt ihr tatsächlich, die faszinierende Kreatur einzufangen.
