Die junge Tina hat einen grossen Traum, sie will eine erfolgreiche Popsängerin werden. Deswegen versucht sie ihr Glück in der Musiksendung 'Formel Eins'. Dort lernt sie allelei Stars wie Falco, Meat Loaf, Die Toten Hosen und Pia Zadora und natürlich den Moderator Ingolf Lück kennen. Es kommt zu kunterbunten Verwicklungen und es stellt sich die Frage, ob Tina ihren Traum wahr machen kann.
