Als die Sylter Rettungsschwimmerin Bente den Architekten Kevin aus dem Wasser holt, ist ihr noch nicht klar, was für ein Problem sie sich da an Land gezogen hat. Denn wie sich herausstellt, gehört Bente auf Sylt das letzte Haus, das Kevin kaufen muss, um für seine Firma eine lukrative Ferienanlage zu bauen. Und ausgerechnet Bente ist die Anführerin des Widerstands gegen den Ausverkauf von Sylt.
