Dicte Svendsen ist Reporterin für das „Tageblatt“ im dänischen Aarhus. Ihre Themen sind die Kriminalfälle der Stadt. Doch Dicte schreibt nicht nur, sie ermittelt auch – aber auf eigene Faust. Furchtlos, emotional und mutig bringt Dicte sich immer wieder in gefährliche Situationen und den Chefermittler John Wagner in Rage. Ihre gemeinsame Arbeit führt allerdings zu einer Aufklärungsquote von 100 Prozent. Und so wird das Duo, wenn auch zunächst widerwillig, zum Dream Team.
