When the media ambushes the cafe looking for Ta-chih, she realizes she's been betrayed, and Szu-tsung is determined to protect her. Wang She makes a drastic change. To their surprise, Chiao-an and Brother News' efforts don't affect SBC's ratings, but a new director threatens to disrupt things.

Despite the ratings risk, Chiao-an is determined to rectify SBC News' ethics. Mei-Mei's father blames Wang She for her premature birth, putting pressure on him to reroute his career. Chiao-ping and Yi-chun argue about how to handle their patients. Ta-chih bumps into Mao, an old love interest. Meanwhile, Szu-tsung refuses to take his medication.
