In this action-packed adventure, R2-D2 and C-3PO are en route to meet their new master, Mungo Baobob, on Biitu. Suddenly, the ship is attacked by sludgegulper droids, and Artoo and Threepio are captured and brought to the surface of the planet. There, they discover that Mungo is a prisoner, and a huge, evil droid – the Great Heep – has sucked nearly all the water from the atmosphere with a “moisture eater” machine, turning the once-lush landscape into an arid wasteland and condemning the Biituians to die of thirst. Now, the only hope of survival rests with a brave young boy named Fidge. Meanwhile, the gargantuan, seemingly invincible Heep needs to constantly recharge himself by consuming astromech droids…and R2-D2 is next on the menu!
