In this episode, Darren heads to Istanbul, Turkey to meet the men going under the knife to boost their mustache hair, and is even allowed to scrub in on an implant surgery. Next, it's off to the Maramures in Romania, where Darren steps back in time and earns his daily bread as a medieval farmer. Finally, Darren is transformed into an alternative model, complete with tattoos and lip rings, in order to host the Alternative Model of the Year competition in Newcastle, England.

Next, he visits the controversial spiritual community of Damanhur in Northern Italy to investigate their unusual beliefs, and is shown their labyrinth of intricate hand painted temples built deep into the mountainside.

Next, its off to Sweden to experience life as a Viking in the museum village of Foteviken. Here, the King of the Village puts Darren through his paces with mixed results. Finally, Darren agrees to take part in a London chessboxing tournament: a unique sport that combines the brutality of the boxing ring with the tactical intellect of the chessboard.
