7. Into the Electric Furnace!

Superman discovers Hackett's cabin empty, at that point recognizes Lois' auto in time to save her. The Spider Lady shows her plans to Hackett. They intend to capture Clark Kent to trap Superman. Hawkins is compelled to telephone a tip to Kent, however Lois answers and she and Jimmy go to the meeting place. There Jimmy is kidnapped. At The Daily Planet, Clark gets a call about Jimmy, and goes to meet a criminal, secretly followed by Lois. Clark offers to have Superman show up if Jimmy is let go. Rather the criminals have Clark locked up a room in a warehouse, while Jimmy is left unconsious on a conveyor belt headed into a blast furnance.
6. Superman in Danger!
1948 - Season 1
In Leeds' office, Superman saves Lois from being harmed by an electric gadget used by the criminals. He flies after the law breakers. They use kryptonite to escape from him. The Spider Lady decides she requires scientific help utilizing the kryptonite and Reducer Ray, so she masterminds an escape for Dr. Hackett, a brilliant, yet crooked scientist. Clark tries to get Hawkins to give him information about Dr. Hackett, however Hawkins hesitates after spotting men from The Spider Lady. Clark goes after the men, while Lois gets information from Hawkins. The evildoers go to a summer cabin where Hackett is hiding out. They say they will come back and sneak him out using bandages to disguise him. Clark ties up the Doctor, steals his diguise and is taken by the crooks in a ambulance. Lois arrives and unties Hackett, who then forces her into her auto. The criminals find Clark, and stun him on a country road. Hackett spots them and stuns Lois, at that point hops out of her auto as it thunders towards the edge of the road and a mountain!
5. A Job for Superman!
1948 - Season 1
At the last second, Spider Lady spares Lois' life. Lois meets the Spider Lady's henchmen, who are impersonating the Reducer Ray's inventor and his assistant. Lois sees them photographing the machine and tries make a to call, but is seized by one of the crooks before she can finish. They tie her to a chair and gag her, planning to destroy the machine with a short-circuit so they can have the only one. Lois is left in the room as the pressure on the machine increases, which will soon cause an explosion.
4. Man of Steel.
1948 - Season 1
A meteor comes to Earth, and it falls into the hands of Dr. Leeds, a scientist and astronomer, who examines it and classifies it as a piece of the destroyed planet Krypton. Clark Kent, having been ditched by Lois, meets with Dr. Leeds who shows him the meteor. The meteor is a glowing rock which immediately causes Kent to collapse. Leeds sees that he is not breathing and thinks him dead, but when the cover is replaced he revives. Clark reveals that he is Superman and asks the Leeds' help by destroying the rock. Leeds agrees to discard it after two days of scientific study. Leeds' assistant overhears this, and reports to The Spider Lady, expecting to be paid for the information. Lois Lane sees him getting into a car with the criminals and interferes, thinking he's being kidnapped. She, too, is kidnapped, and taken to the Spider Lady. After the Spider Lady gets the information, she pays him one dollar. The man is insulted, so she has him killed, electrocuted on her spider's web. She then orders Lois killed in the same manner.
3. The Reducer Ray.
1948 - Season 1
Superman manages to save Lois and the others trapped in the mine, carrying them to safety one at a time. As Clark, he then scoops Lois on the story. Time goes by, with Superman becoming a more established hero. He defeats many crooks and other villains. The government gives Superman the assignment of protecting the Relativity Reducer Ray, which is a new weapon being tested in the desert. Superman agrees, and interferes with some criminals' attempt to steal it using a magnetic ray. The criminals work for The Spider Lady, who is apparently the queen of the Metropolis underworld. She plans to find a way to defeat Superman.
2. Depths of the Earth.
1948 - Season 1
Superman recues the train, and Lois phones in the story to a skeptical editor, Perry White. Arriving in Metropolis, Clark changes to Superman and rescues some victims of a fire. He then finds The Daily Planet, the city's biggest and best newspaper. He barges into Managing Editor Perry White's office and asks for a job. Clark is told that if he scoops Lois and Jimmy at a mine story, he’s hired. At the site of the mine blast, Lois learns of another route into the mine. She goes in and another blast happens sealing the shaft, now she's trapped too. Clark changes to Superman to intervene.
1. Superman Comes to Earth.
1948 - Season 1
Jor-El tries to persuade Krypton’s science council that the planet is being pulled towards its sun, causing gravitational pressure that will soon destroy the planet. They vote against his proposition to make an armada of spaceships to get away from the planet. He sends his child, Kal-El to Earth on an experimental spaceship. On Earth the infant, Kal-El is discovered and adopted by by Mary and Eben Kent, who name him Clark. As Clark grows, it becomes evident that he has incredible superpowers. As an adult, his adoptive parents die and he leaves the ranch for Metropolis, where his abilities will be the most helpful to mankind. Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane are on their way to cover a story for the Daily Planet newspaper. Clark sees their train hurtling towards a broken rail. He changes to Superman and prepares for action.
