The final 2 families take part in the final challenge before a winner is determined. The winner will then throw a block party for all the families, before those who've been evicted cast their votes to determine the winner of the $250,000 grand prize.

The three remaining families participate in an epic water slide challenge, and the winning family is allowed to spend a day outside the wall while the other two families stay behind and worry about their fate. After one family is kicked out of the neighborhood, the final two families face off in the last neighborhood challenge — and the biggest challenge yet. The winners of the challenge host a block party for all of the families. Then, at the final neighborhood election, all family members who have been kicked out of the neighborhood each cast a ballot to determine which family will win the $250,000 grand prize. Who will it be? Will the friendships tested during the competition survive outside the wall?

The remaining families are thrilled when a crane drops a care package for all to enjoy. One father relishes the bonding time he has with his daughter. In a challenge, the neighbors are given a unique way to clean their clothes. With so few families left in the game, everyone feels vulnerable at the Neighborhood Meeting, and, ultimately, another family is kicked out of the game.

Without their everyday distractions, the neighbors are beginning to unravel... until an ice cream deliveryman throws some "presents" over the wall! One family feels shunned by "the core" alliance of other families in the competition, and turns to a new friend. In a challenge, things get personal as one family targets another and a rift develops that reverberates throughout the neighborhood. The Neighborhood Meeting leaves everyone in shock as one more family is kicked out of the game.

Cut off from the world by a 20-foot wall, the six families remaining in the neighborhood learn to deal with their isolation. With certain families seemingly in a "core" alliance, one family extends a secret pact to an outside family. One family has to cope with someone's injury while a strategic pact is formed between two unlikely families. The Neighborhood Challenge is a humorous take on a common suburban puzzle. Strategy takes a back seat to emotion when less threatening families find themselves in danger.

With no electricity and no way to communicate with the outside world, a mother and daughter take time to reconnect with each other. One neighbor regrets the decision made at the previous Neighborhood Meeting and worries about future friendships after the competition ends. At this week's challenge, the families participate in a suburban scavenger hunt where they're allowed to invade their neighbors' homes in search of particular items. At the Neighborhood Meeting, strategy (and the $250,000 grand prize) is weighed against friendships, and another family leaves the walled-in neighborhood.

Can an average middle-class household let go of modern-day conveniences in order to reconnect with each other as a family? In what promises to be the ultimate family bonding experiment, eight homes in the same neighborhood will be cut off from the outside world by a 20-foot wall and a near lack of electricity as families face off against their neighbors. Families from diverse backgrounds – from a single-parent family to three generations living under the same roof – will compete against their neighbors in "There Goes the Neighborhood. One family will be eliminated each week, until only one family remains to claim the $250,000 grand prize.
