8. An Unexpected Move

Although neighboring countries are wary of the Nation of Leading Darkness and its army of the undead, its reputation is improving after having saved the Holy Kingdom from Jaldabaoth’s attack and by providing continued support. Meanwhile, the situation in the Kingdom is slowly but surely deteriorating. As Zanac tries to protect the country somehow, Philip, who is frustrated with the situation, comes up with a plan. It is such a foolish plan that it causes a situation that no one could foresee.

7. Frost Dragon Lord

The dwarves should have been easily defeated. However, the Quagoa Clan Lord, Riyuro, finds that the dwarves possess some sort of great power. Thus, he asks for help from a Frost Dragon that rules over them, Olasird’arc. Secretly plotting a showdown between the two sides, Riyuro evacuates his entire army of 60,000 to the outskirts of the royal capital. However, two young girls, Shalltear and Aura, appear in front of him. He realizes just how overwhelming their strength is and desperately tries to bargain with them. He does not know how foolish this decision is.

6. The Impending Crisis

In the past, the dwarves built a number of underground cities and prospered. However, the royal capital was taken by the Frost Dragons, and Feo Raizo was abandoned as well after being attacked by the demi-human Quagoa. Feo Jera, though protected by a natural barrier, was about to be invaded next. The dwarves were saved from this predicament by Ainz, who rushed to their aid. Thus, they set up a meeting with Ainz, despite their fear of the undead. There, an unexpected request is asked of them in exchange for the recapturing of their royal capital.

5. In Pursuit of the Land of Dwarves

Ainz becomes interested in the Dwarf Kingdom when he learns of a master craftsman of rune weapons there. However, the interaction between humans and dwarves ceased long ago, and thus it is unclear what kind of land it is or where it is located. With Zenberu as his guide, Ainz arrives at the Azerlisia Mountains and finds the dwarven capital of Feo Raizo. The city is an abandoned ruin.

4. The Ruler of Conspiracy

Ainz lays out his plan for the Nation of Darkness and wants to establish friendly relations with the other countries. He takes action on his own, rather than tell Demiurge, Albedo, and the others who are working toward world domination. He heads for the Empire with Ainzach, the Guildmaster of the Adventurer’s Guild in E-Rantel. He takes Ainzach’s advice and fights against the strongest gladiator in the arena, the Martial Lord. Jircniv also happens to be at the arena.

3. Baharuth Empire

Emperor Jircniv is in a tight spot. Thanks to Ainz, the Empire won the last war against the Kingdom and came out almost unscathed. However, despite their victory, ever since seeing the fearsome power of Ainz, the imperial knights have lost their will to fight and the Empire has had no choice but to obey the Nation of Darkness. Moreover, the trump card of the Empire, Fluder, has also pledged his allegiance to the Nation of Darkness. Even so, Jircniv believes that Ainz poses a threat to humanity, and thus he secretly plans to form an alliance against the Nation.

2. Re-Estize Kingdom

In their last war with the empire, the Re-Estize Kingdom military suffered catastrophic losses. Moreover, they lost E-Rantel to the Nation of Leading Darkness, and their power declined. The Second Prince, Zanac, begins rebuilding the Kingdom, while a delegation from the Nation of Darkness arrives. Its leader, Prime Minister Albedo of the Nation of Darkness, overwhelms the nobles with her goddess-like grace, but an unsightly nobleman by the name of Philip approaches her.

1. Ainz Ooal Gown Nation of Leading Darkness

Ainz worries about how he can rule as the king of the Ainz Ooal Gown Nation of Leading Darkness. Thanks to the excellent NPCs such as Albedo and Demiurge and the undead, the Nation of Leading Darkness is now safe and free of hunger. Despite this, the residents of the Nation are still anxious and full of fear. The town goes quiet and its fire goes out, losing its former vitality. With no answers in sight, Ainz visits the Adventurer's Guild alone where he makes a proposal to Ainzach, the Guildmaster.
