The cheerleaders get ready for a sexy car wash fundraiser. Chastity is worried that the other cheerleaders are plotting something. Bianca and Chastity plan to fake a fight so the other girls will trust Bianca and confide in her. The fight spirals out of control and Chastity gets kicked off the cheerleading squad. Kat and Blank compete for the attention of the college admissions officer from Brown. As they try to one-up each other, Kat announces her intentions to run for student body president opposite Blank. Cameron helps Kat produce a campaign rap video.

Walter starts dating the school guidance counselor, Ms. Tharpe (Leslie Grossman), much to the dismay of Bianca and Kat. Bianca really misses Joey while he is away filming. They try to connect on the phone, but keep getting interrupted. Kat and Patrick deal with the aftermath of not having sex and are not quite sure where things stand. Kat considers joining a school trip to Nepal. Bianca starts to bond with Ms. Tharpe and tries to exploit this bond for special treatment. When Ms. Tharpe declines to help, Bianca asks Walter to break up with her and he listens.

Walter pretends to be working late when he is really on a date with Ms. Tharpe. Bianca plans her first adult dinner party with friends. Chastity attends the dinner party with Michael as her date. Michael confides in Chastity that he is actually gay. Chastity can’t keep the secret and the big reveal happens over dinner. Joey gets selected to be on “The Biggest Poser”. Kat and Patrick decide to be responsible and get tested for any STDs. After both receive a clean bill of health, Patrick plans a romantic evening for their first time.

Kat goes on a date with Blank after Patrick downplays their relationship. Bianca has second thoughts about inviting Cameron and Dawn to join her and Joey on a double date when she finds out they are going to a make-out movie.

Patrick gets kicked out of his house and needs to crash at Kat's. Patrick’s mysterious behavior compels Kat to follow him to find out what he is up to. She brings Cameron along for the ride and they find out that Patrick has been going to therapy in secret. Joey is getting himself ready to audition for the model reality show called "The Biggest Poser" hosted by Rachel Hunter. Bianca is concerned that Joey's determination to get on the show has resulted in an eating disorder.
5. The Winner Takes It All

Everyone gets ready for the Padua High talent show. All focus is on Bianca, who is usually the star of the show. Kat is jealous of Bianca's attention and agrees to help Cameron perform his magic act. Chastity steals Bianca's idea to sing the song "Kids in America", but when her equipment malfunctions and her mother (Shari Headley) doesn't believe that she can do it Bianca suggests they sing the song as a duet. Kat gets stage fright and Cameron's magic act bombs. He musters up the courage to sing the song "My Girl" that proved to be a traumatic experience for him at a talent show in junior high.

Kat tries to convince the student government to pass a meatless lunch initiative, with some help from a new British student named Blank. Bianca sets Cameron up with one of their classmates in attempt to regain his friendship.

On a night of official first dates, Bianca worries that Joey expects them to have a physical relationship. Meanwhile, Kat is unsure if she and Patrick are on a date until he offers to cover their dinner bill by having them run out on it.

Bianca is terrified Chastity will find out that she kissed Joey and knows Chastity won’t stop until she finds out who betrayed her. Bianca asks Joey to steal Cameron’s keys to the AV room during gym so she can steal the security footage of them making out and erase the tape. After a defiant motorcycle ride off school property Kat is momentarily stoked for fighting the system, but soon deflates when reality sets in that she has been suspended. Kat tells Walter she was trying to protect a “poor kid” who was having his bag searched. Realizing that being suspended will result in a zero on her English, Patrick helps her break into school to take the test.
