This documentary, "My Yang Gang Diary", is a behind-the scenes look at Andrew Yangs political campaign. The documentary was shot on an iPhone 11, but you never get the vibe that it was shot on an iPhone 11. The film looks like it shot on high end commercial cameras, which is a testament to Ching's filming style and production. Ching was persistent in capturing every moment of the drama in the Yang Gang campaign team.

The film is everything a documentary should be: educational, inspiring, hopeful, entertaining and engaging. Ching captures the perseverance and passion of Andrew Yang's team

I thoroughly recommend watching Ching Juhl's documentary "My Yang Gang Diary" that she edited, filmed, directed and produced. Wonderful film, you are in for a treat.

My Yang Gang Diary is an excellent documentary showing the devotion and enthusiasm of the Yang Gangs for the presidential campaign of Andrew Yang. I have learned a lot on the process of canvassing and how much work the campaign requires!

The editing is painstakingly done to tell a story seamlessly throughout the film. I love the music soundtracks which range from classical music, jazz, pop, R&B to world music.

What is amazing and surprising is that Ching captured the yearlong campaign with an iPhone! This documentary demonstrates that storytelling is more important than how fancy one's equipment is. The images are sharp and the audio is excellent.

My Yang Gang Diary is a personal and grassroots movement story which not only inspired me but extremely educational. Thank you, Ching, for sharing your story!!

What I liked about the movie is that is not so much about the content of the political ideas, but mostly gives a very good impression on how 'normal people' help to promote their favorite party. I think that insight is what makes this documentary really unique. For me, as a non US citizen it is a rare chance to see this and have the feeling I am living along with this group of people. The documentary also provides some new glimpses on lesser known (from movies) areas. I was so suprised that everything is so straight in America that it looks like all the streets have been designed with a ruler. Never thought about how many curves and circles my own city has, as I am kind of used to that. There was one scene that I rewatched as to my surprise even the American snow and clowds seemed to have a sharp edge. That was probably a coincidence, but I loved how that came into the movie. Mostly I see that this is a unique document about individuals that seem to share one big connection. Probably sociologists or antropologist will love to watch this. Looking forward to your interview with mister Yang. Great job Ching!

I really loved My Yang Gang Diary. It was engaging following Ching Juhl's personal emergence into the grass roots political campaign of Andrew Yang. It is more than a personal journey story of the filmmaker Ching. Juhl. Her own curiosity is contagious and her sensitivity to her comrades on the campaign, through her continuous smooth shooting style allows the viewer to not only get too know the activists but as well become part of the team.

Even if you were not a Yang supporter you will feel the passion, excitement and perseverance of the volunteers working alongside the filmmaker in her entertaining and educational documentary of the political process of an American presidential primary journey. My Yang Gang Diary should also be a useful tool for high school civics classes.

This is a unique documentary about election canvassing and presidential primaries in America, fighting relentlessly against the odds and battling against all kinds of difficulties on the way (coldness, tiredness, despair, even physical injuries). Through a very personal lens, we get to experience and feel the extraordinary life of ordinary political activists; the journey is as much about supporting a candidate as building a strong camaraderie and dreaming together large and high that we can change things... If you happen to feel depressed by the current state of political affairs, then this movie is the perfect fix... Watch it and you may start to feel that it is time for you too to get on your feet and change things ...
