This is now the establishment viewpoint. There is zero in this that is rebellious. Also it's all bad interpretations of science. There is zero evidence that unprocessed meat is unhealthy. All the studies on plant based diets compare the standard American diet (SAD) to unprocessed plant based diets. None of the references compare a whole food keto meat focused diet to vegan.
There is a reason that 90% of the food industry research money is from big suppliers of plant based food. All the big money in food is in highly processed, shelf stable plant focused food.
Don't drink the koolaid (plant-based). It's killing you.

The film uses bad science -- if an entire country has a high rate of heart disease and many eat a high fat diet, then that's the cause. They are also mainly right-handed so that must also be a cause.

Bring up eating meat dairy and anything that was birthed as determential to the health to humans. Strange how people don't want to drink dog's milk but don't think it strange to drink cow's milk. Great scientific view into these statements of how these foods are killing the societies that depend on them financially. Also strange that the Cancer society would not do an interview on camera or anyone in the Ministry of Health (our equivalent of the FDA)
This relatively low budget documentary explores the scenario during and after the writer experiences a heart attack; and the standard medical procedures offered subsequently.
The writer steps out of the 'treadmill' of the system when he queries medical professionals that tell him there is no cure, and eventually things will just get worse. He starts questioning the system, the government departments and the food industry that are suppose to have the public's best interest at heart. For those 'businesses' building the treadmills, they are reluctant or evasive in their well worded responses. The most frightening thing about this story is the denial of scientific evidence from food industries, and the interested parties, and the fact that these big players simply ignore calls to answer questions by one man - about health.
A documentary ultimately doesn't tell you what you should and shouldn't do, but subtlety gives you the information (and blocking of information) for you to make up your own mind.
More questions need to be asked; but these questions NEED to be answered.
You did not mention the differences in meat and how it is raised and feed. One very important thing totally left out of the program is oils make from seeds and the dangers they pose. Also did not mention artificial sweeteners. Did not mention soil and the lack of minerals in it compared to 100 years ago. Some good points in documentary, but a lot left out. Also the way food is processed and the nutrition remove because of this. Did not mention Gluten and the damage it does to the small intestines. Also did not mention the chemicals put on crops and added to foods, which cause many problems. The worst thing left out is the dangers of oils made from seeds, like margarine and many other items.
